Choosing to practice AWTA Wing Tsun means learning a real and instinctive SELF-DEFENSE System in a serene and cordial atmosphere away from fanaticism and exaltation. The competence and professionalism of the Instructors and Teachers are guaranteed by a theoretical-practical academic preparation, based on an excellent technical and pedagogical development, which derives from decades of experience of practice. SOCIALIZATION, EDUCATION and RESPECT are the basis of teaching in all recognized AWTA Schools.

History

Wing Tsun is a Chinese Martial Art, the only one ever created by a woman around 1750 whose name is Ng Mui and was probably the last martial art ever developed. Wing Tsun means Eternal Spring. Wing Tsun was brought to Hong Kong and then the rest of the world by Ip Man, with Bruce Lee being his most famous student.
