WT is self-defence in its most pure form
- It is not based on physical strength or acrobatic ability to allow a weak person to defend themselves,
- Teaches you how to use your opponent’s strength against themselves,
- WT self-defence movements derive from reflexes that are mechanically and directly determined by the opponent’s attack.
- It can be learned in a short time for the purpose of self-defence and deepened over time in its aspects of true traditional Chinese martial art.
- It meets the needs of those seeking to respond to force with appropriate force and is therefore particularly suitable for police and security forces.
- WT is a complete self-defence system. Its effectiveness does not lie in stylistic evolutions, but in the revolutionary totality of its simple concepts. The immediacy, the limited number of movements used, the naturalness and the motor intelligence make WT the fastest and most ingenious system of Self-Defence.
The Wing Tsun Economy
The WT technique is based on the assumption that a person can deal with an aggression even with a few movements available in his motor baggage. The best self-defence is the one that cancels out the most real attacks with as few movements as possible!
In WT you can perform up to 3 and even 4 movements at the same time.
Through intense training, WT students learn to borrow attacking energy through a controlled and deliberate “compliance.” The attacked parts of the body are thus charged with the force of the attack itself and release this energy directly against those who first generated it.
The economy of WT manifests itself in all its movements and in all its principles and is such an effective and “easy” weapon from a physical point of view, that it is particularly suitable for women. The simplicity with which the objectives are achieved is the object of amazement for many martial arts experts.
